Today I talked to Lukas, Julian and Adrian about that little bug in Seaside Forms related to character encodings. They put it on their list for 3.0 beta1, since it’s really a no-brainer.
Adrian pointed me to some obvious problem I’m about to get into with using the ISO-8859-1 charset:It lacks the Euro-sign as well as some characters that are not used in German, but in french and some baltic languages. It’s better to use 8859-15, which was created exactly for that reason. If you want to learn more about it: ask wikipedia.
